Buying a used RV in Florida is a big investment — and private sellers and dealers are not always upfront about deferred maintenance. A pre-purchase inspection gives you an independent picture of what you are actually buying before money changes hands.

Alex performs mobile inspections at the seller's location, an RV park, or a storage lot anywhere in our service area. You get a thorough systems check from someone who repairs these rigs every day — not a generic checklist from a shop that does not know RVs.

What We Inspect

  • Roof and exterior — sealant, vents, awning, visible water intrusion
  • A/C and climate — cooling performance, thermostat, duct airflow
  • Electrical — shore power, converter, outlets, battery charging
  • Plumbing — pressure test, water heater, pumps, visible leaks
  • Appliances — refrigerator, stove, microwave function checks
  • Structure and slides — operation, alignment, obvious soft spots
  • Generator — startup and load test when equipped

Why Use a Mobile RV Tech

Dealership "prep" is not the same as an independent inspection. Alex works for you, the buyer — and will tell you if a rig is a great find, needs budget for repairs, or is a pass.

Booking an Inspection

Schedule before you finalize the sale. Provide the RV location, year/make/model, and seller contact window. We will confirm availability and inspection scope on the call.

Common Questions

Pre-Purchase Inspections FAQs

Should I get an RV inspected before buying it used?

Yes. Water intrusion, deferred maintenance, and failing appliances are common in used RVs and expensive to discover after purchase. An independent inspection by a working RV technician tells you what you're actually buying — and gives you leverage on price if repairs are needed.

How long does an RV pre-purchase inspection take?

Plan on a few hours depending on the rig's size and how many systems it has. Alex tests A/C, electrical, plumbing, appliances, generator, slides, and inspects the roof and exterior for water intrusion, then walks you through the findings in plain language.

Where do RV pre-purchase inspections happen?

At the RV's current location — a dealer lot, private seller's driveway, RV park, or storage facility anywhere in our Treasure Coast service area. You don't need the seller to move the rig.

Is a dealer inspection the same as an independent one?

No. Dealer 'prep' works for the seller; an independent inspector works for you, the buyer. Alex has no stake in the sale and will tell you plainly whether a rig is a great find, needs a repair budget, or is a pass.
